There are many oil grades around (0W-30, 10W-30, etc). What is the difference between them? Can I use them safely in my vehicle?
The 0w refers to how cold the temperature can be start the engine. This does not mean 10W-30 will not start your car, it just means it'll have to work a little harder. If you're in a pinch, use what is available to you. For longevity of your car, please follow the recommended oil grade in the car manual.
